Heroin Search Warrant Leads to 3 Arrests
Tuesday April 12, 2016 1:09pm On Monday, April 11th, 2016, at approximately 6:45 P.M., the Dubuque Police Department Tactical Team, Dubuque Drug Task Force, Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement and the Dubuque Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at 1430 Iowa St., in the city of Dubuque.
Upon entering the residence, law enforcement located 3 subjects inside. These subjects were identified as Derrick Jermaine Brown (DOB 03/13/91) of 2826 Central Avenue, D’Anthony Lamont Moore (DOB 03/18/92) of Chicago, and Tywone Derrel Matthews (DOB 06/10/76) of Chicago.
Derrick Brown, D’Anthony Moore and Tywone Matthews were arrested for Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin and transported to the Dubuque County Jail.
Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin is a Class C Felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000.00 fine.
This investigation is active and ongoing and no other information will be released at this time.
